Biography



Dr. HÉCTOR OLTRA GARCÍA. Composer, Conductor & Musical Researcher. Born in Alboraya (Valencia, Spain). 





MUSICAL EDUCATION:

Beginnings at the Societat Musical d'Alboraya (Valencia).

Doctor PhD in Music with "Cum Laude" mention and proposal for Extraordinary Doctorate Award - Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). Doctoral Thesis on the Valencian composer Ramón Ramos Villanueva (1954-2012).

Master's Degree in Contemporary Music - Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV).

High Degree in Music in the specialty of Orchestra Conducting - Superior Conservatory of Music of Valencia (CSMV), Professor D. Manuel Galduf.

High Degree in Music in the specialty of Composition - Superior Conservatory of Music of Valencia (CSMV), Professor D. Ramón Ramos Villanueva.

Professor title of Harmony, Counterpoint and Fugue, Composition and Instrumentation (CMV).

Professor title of Solfeggio, Music Theory, Transposition and Accompaniment (CMV).

Professor title of Oboe (CMV).
